A 2,000-year-old and figurine of the ancient pagan god, Eros, riding with a dolphin were Paestrum on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Eros is the god of love and sex.
Three ancient pagan temples were famed in the city of Paestrum. These temples are part of today’s world heritage.
Situated near the archaeological site of Pompeii, Paestum dates back to the fifth century B.C.E. It fell under the rule of the Romans by around 275 BC.
