According to the news released by Times of Israel, a “mysterious” train of lights moved across the sky over the northern part of the Holy Land on Saturday.
Israelis were dazzled and mystified by a series of mysterious lights silently flying in a line across the night skies.
“We’ve never seen anything like this in our lives. it looked like a chain of lights and moved relatively slowly,” one of the residents of Nahariya told Walla. The local witnesses said the lights traveled from east to west and disappeared after around 15 to 30 seconds.
The strange sightings were also reported in Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece at the same time.
Israeli soldiers, the IDF, are investigating the source of the lights. Some people reported that the lights are coming from several numbers of recently launched SpaceX Starlink satellites.
On Friday, a SpaceX rocket launched a payload of 46 Starlink satellites from the Vandenberg Space Base in California. Elon Musk who owns the billion-dollar Space X is deploying a network of low-orbit satellites to provide a high-speed internet connection around the world.
A report said that SpaceX has not yet commented on Saturday night’s light show. But the Starlink company did confirm last 2020 that its satellites were the cause of similar lights that also had the Israeli Air Force (IAF) and Space Agency investigating right now.
Therefore, most people conclude that the recent Saturday night’s spectacular light show was not a product of “out of this world” phenomena or any supernatural occurrences, but was a scientific endeavor of the popular Space Agency.
However, the Israeli Air Force is still investigating and confirming the said occurrence whether it is a natural occurrence or bizarre sighting.
